IT Apprentice

Do you have a passion for IT and wish to kick-start your career as an IT Apprentice?

You will be part of a busy team providing continuity of service and technical support to customers within targets and supporting the company’s commitment to achieving high standards of customer satisfaction.

Individuals will initially undertake a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration and it is the intention that these individuals progress to a Level 4 apprenticeship and remain with the business beyond this.

As an IT Apprentice you will:

  • Be the first port of call for customers and colleagues experiencing technical IT issues over the phone and via email
  • Perform 1st line telephone diagnostics and remote technical support
  • Fix and troubleshoot reported IT issues quickly and professionally to agreed service level agreements (SLA)
  • Escalate issues to 2nd or 3rd tier Analysts as and where appropriate
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and become a trusted source of advice
  • Offer tailored professional advice and support for customers
  • Liaise with all members of IT services to enable quick support and advice for all aspects of IT

With ambitious growth plans, we are looking for individuals that have a willingness to learn and progress, keep up-to-date with technology and solutions and are motivated to provide an excellent customer experience.  Individuals will initially undertake a Level 3 Diploma in IT User Skills and it is the intention that these individuals progress to an advanced apprenticeship and remain with the business beyond this.
