The Challenge

Argante Care is a healthcare staffing agency and a training provider for healthcare professionals based in Swindon, which caters to most of Wiltshire with clients in Marlborough, Royal Wootton Bassett, Calne, Chippenham, and Salisbury. It recently opened its second office in Gloucester to serve requirements in the greater Gloucestershire area.

As a rapidly-growing business in a demanding industry, the company wanted to enhance their office solutions and to further professionalise their processes. Furthermore, Argante Care is committed to ensuring that its records adhere to the strictest IT compliance procedures and with GDPR standards. Trust, confidentiality, and high-quality service are values the company holds dear.

Its current service provider was also based in the United States and having local IT support is a preference for their office team. Argante Care has lined up expansion plans in the short-term and it wants to have a system in place that supports this growth mindset.

The Solution

Excalibur was already known to the company as a local IT service provider, with our office just a few miles away from the healthcare staffing agency. We invited some of the Argante Care team to a discovery day to meet us, talk to us and see what we could do for them. The main requirements highlighted were GDPR-compliance, systems flexibility, and getting more out of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

The initial phase of the project was to take over IT support from the current provider. We suggested Excalibur SupportPAK, which is a per-hour support on a responsive basis. Bought in blocks of hours, clients can use SupportPAK for any IT-related incident not covered by other agreements or maintenance contracts.

Excalibur managed the entire transition and worked with Argante Care every step of the way.

The Result

Argante Care has been very satisfied with the transition and with the ongoing support provided by Excalibur. Excalibur worked in close coordination with their office team, and Argante Care’s delivery of its high-quality service to its numerous clients and staff across Wiltshire has been smooth and un-interrupted. A swift and a seamless transition is a must for their management team, and this was achieved.

With a robust platform and an experienced IT team supporting its plans, Argante Care is steadfast and is more prepared in realising its business objectives and its expansion strategy. In future, the company wants Excalibur to help with Office 365, the implementation of in-house servers, and other IT projects which could further boost productivity.
