Leading Resolutions are a business focused, independent IT consultancy based in Royal Wootton Bassett with a blue-chip international client base. With over 100 staff, comprising of a small head office team and a large team of consultants, they needed a collaborative working environment to bring everyone together.

IT Security and flexibility were paramount as consultants needed to access company data from their devices, wherever they were located. Collaboration systems, moving out of a data centre environment and refreshing hardware were all aspects for consideration too.

The Solution

Excalibur had already been managing Leading Resolutions’ mobile contract and had a solid working relationship. Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint were the solutions deployed to deal with the collaborative element and also ensure that all staff could carry on working from any location at any time

Office 365 was the solution implemented to take care of email, IM, Skype/Lync plus all the standard office applications. As this is a cloud-based platform, the software is always up to date and can be accessed at any time from any device or location.

To support productivity and future growth, Excalibur implemented leased line connectivity, re-cabling and new server hardware.

The Result

Leading Resolutions employees across the UK are now more connected via a secure and accessible infrastructure that is tailored to their business. Consultants are able to share and edit documents on the go, check calendars, share screens, meet online and use instant messaging to connect with colleagues and clients.

24/7 monitoring, dedicated support, software, IT security and reporting are all taken care of by Excalibur, allowing the business to focus on getting things done.
