Are you free on 8th June? If so we would love you to join us for a community day of cycling fun! In support of our ‘Cycle the world in 80 working days’ fundraising challenge, we need you to help us make it to our target.
If you haven’t heard about it until now, after raising over £15k for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and other South West based charities through a series of events throughout 2017, we decided to up the ante for 2018.
The challenge started on Sports Relief day and was inspired by endurance cyclist Mark Beaumont, we’re following the route that he completed in 2017. For every mile completed, Excalibur have committed to donate £1. That’s a staggering £18,000 and you can track our progress here!
All we need from you is anything from half an hour upwards time spent on one of our bikes. You most definitely do not need to be fit, simply take it at your own pace as there is no competition involved. Go as fast or a slow as you’re able.
We have a number of Keiser & upright cycles in the offices for you to use plus refreshments all day, relax and play some pool afterwards and enjoy the views from our offices out over Peatmoor lake. There might even be a few surprises in store throughout the day.
